Application

1 - tin system with good coverage for new and renovation coatings on interior softwood, hardwood or tropical wood ceilings and materials based on wood such as chipboard, OSB and MDF boards, laminated and veneered decorative boards and panelling. Suitable for damp rooms (kitchen, bathroom and WC). Tested in accordance with DIN EN 71-3:2021-06 Safety of children's toys and DIN 53160 Parts 1 and 2 Resistance to sweat and saliva.

Product properties

Water-based, odourless, with excellent insulating and sealing properties. Excellent adhesion. Excellent coverage. High degree of whiteness. Isolates wood ingredients in softwoods, hardwoods and tropical woods. Blocks staining by wax, tar, smoke, soot, grease and nicotine stains, also dried water stains. Excellent adhesive properties even on difficult substrates and suitable for damp rooms (kitchen, bathroom and WC). Water stains and veneer glues may contain ingredients such as dyes that cannot be isolated with water-dilutable systems such as ISO HDF.

Dust-dry: ca. 30 minutes
Dry to the touch: ca. 90 minutes
2nd coat after 5 to 6 hours
Drying times significantly longer at > 80% humidity. Make sure that the evaporating water can as quickly as possible leave the room. Coatings that remain wet for too long may still draw substances from the substrate.

Spreading rate

Approx. 8 – 12 m²/l per layer, depending on substrate

Type of application

Brushing: Use a brush with plastic bristles for painting. E.g. Wistoba Krex or Mesko M7 or M10.
Rolling: Use short pile Aqua Felt rollers.
Spraying: dilute with max. 10% water.
Spraying equipment must be rinsed thoroughly, since cationic binders in contact with other binders will clot. Please use Jansen cleaners for spraying equipment.
