Responsible Care is a global initiative of the chemical industry within which companies are obliged to act responsibly with regard to the environment, safety and health, above and beyond the legal requirements. In Germany, the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI) is leading the initiative.
In order to strengthen sustainable development in the German chemical industry, the Chemical Industry Association (VCI), the Union of Mining, Chemistry and Energy (IGBCE) and the Federal Employers' Association of Chemistry (BAVC) have joined forces in an alliance and launched the "Chemie³" initiative.
The United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest and most important initiative for the promotion of corporate responsibility. Jansen has signed up to the Ten Principles of the Global Compact that specify corporate responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labour rights, the environment and the prevention of corruption.
