Application

Undercoat for wood and metal. Wood: only dimensionally stable for exterior. Iron and non-ferrous metals: on pre-primed areas.

Product properties

Particularly easy to apply because of the slightly thixotropic con-sistency. Good flow characteristics, filling and first-class coverage provide the ideal undercoat for all good synthetic resin varnishes but also water-based final coats. Rapid Undercoat is fast-drying and sands well.

Dust-dry: after 5 – 6 hours
Sandable: after drying overnight
Coatable: after drying overnight

Spreading rate

80 – 100 ml/m² per coat. On horizontal surfaces up to max. 150 ml/m².

Type of application

Brushing: Use brushes with natural bristles. Roller application: Use short pile or micro-foam rollers.
